Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
• Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
• General maintenance and repairs
• Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
• MOT Testing if you have the required certification
• Suspension work
• Repairs on lights
• Repairing and replacing exhausts
• Repairing and replacing clutches
• Dealing with gearboxes
• MOT prep and Post MOT repairs
• Wheel alignment
• Repairing and replacing steering racks
• Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• MUST have an NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 2 or Level 3 accepted with a minimum of 3 years services
• Hold a full valid UK driving licence.
• MOT Test certificate - Beneficial but not essential
• F Gas accreditation desirable but not essential
• Level 2 or 3 qualification in electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles essential but not essential.
• Previous garage experience required

HGV Technician

• Alternating weeks - Day shifts 6.00am-2.30pm and Late Shifts 2.00pm-10.30pm
• Monday to Friday and a Saturday rota. - 40 hours a week
• Salary £35,000 - £48,000 basic dependent on experience/qualifications
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Benefits include sickness pay, 30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays and company pension scheme
• Loads of training both online and at our head office.
• They can get you your IRTEC qualification, and put through their HGV driving test both after a period of time.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician

• Test vehicles and diagnose faults
• Recognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failure
• Carry out inspections, servicing and repair of HGVs to company standard.
• Completing all job cards and compliance paperwork to the highest standard ensuring nothing is missed
• Order replacement parts and helping to ensure stock levels are maintained
• Provide excellent customer service whilst working on/off site
• You will be required to complete ongoing training where necessary

• Knowledge of computers required
• Ability to be able to understand and complete written paperwork required

• Salary - £18 - £25 per hour (Dependent on skills and qualifications)
• Monday - Friday - 8am till 6pm
• NO weekends
• Overtime available from 6pm each day and on Saturdays

Key Tasks of a Panel Beater:

• Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
• Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
• Replacement of panels.
• Panel Repairs (Straightening and filling)
• Body Alignment
• Welding ARC, MIG, TIG and bonding
• Panel Beating (Major or Minor damage repair)
• Jig Work
• Filler Work
• Pin pulling
• Removing any dents in panels.
• Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels.

Qualifications required of a Panel Beater

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Panel Beating or be time severed with over 7 years of experience.
• Hold a current valid driving licence
• Previous experience within an accident repair centre essential.

• Full Time/permanent
• Hourly Rate - £15 - £18 per hour (Dependant on experience)
• Monday – Friday - 8am - 6pm
• No Weekends
• Overtime available after 6pm daily or on Saturdays

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Prepper:

• Prepare vehicles to be sprayed and mix paint to ensure a perfect match in order to spray
• Priming vehicles
• Filler work – small and large
• Masking vehicles before they are spray painted
• Sanding when required
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Using the correct equipment and tooling as required
• Quality check on completion ensuring there are no defects
• Achieving an ongoing high rate of productivity.

Requirements of a Vehicle Prepper

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper at least 3+ years in the role
• Must have a full UK driving licence
• Previous experience of working within a fast paced insurance bodyshop is essential

• Plastic welding

• The ability to use pulling and measuring systems, plus basic diagnostic equipment is also of importance.

Requirements of a Panel Beater:

• Must have a Level 2 or 3 NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds UK qualification in Panel Beating or be time served with 10+ years service within the industry.
• Will consider someone with 3-4 years of bodyshop panel beating experience
• Must have a valid UK driving licence
• Previous experience within the automotive bodyshop industry would be preferred.
