SERVICE ADVISOR (BMW & MINI).

YOUR ROLE.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the main contact for the customer from initial meeting to finalising the invoice on completion and handing the vehicle back to the customer. You will be responsible for consulting with the customer the work to be undertaken on their vehicle and keeping them informed of the progress and professionally resolving any issues that may arise, managing customer and business expectations.

The main duties include:

• Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day
• Updating the customer regarding their vehicle repairs and any additional work required, whilst providing excellent customer service with regular communication and updates
• Maintaining knowledge of our aftersales products and services
• Monitor and ensure that the completion of all service and repair paperwork is completed promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Work directly with a team of technicians allocating jobs according to time and ability whilst ensuring the highest levels of service
• Ensure customer vehicles are handled with care whilst in the responsibility of the Service Workshop and that all cars are cleaned and valeted ready for handover to customer

YOUR PROFILE.

• Passion for customer service and the ability to develop rapport and trust with customers to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment recognising individual responsibility to contribute to the performance and success of the team.
• Excellent administration and organisational skill, and good diary management and following up within agreed time frames.
• Proven experience in a Service Team Manager/Service Advisor role, in the automotive industry

• Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a valid clean UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 year.

SALARY AND HOURS.

Basic Salary: £31,500, OTE £45,000 to £53,000 + per annum

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm, 45 hours per week and Saturday 8am – 12.30pm (1 in 3, paid as additional hours)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join the Parts department at Lloyd Jaguar Land Rover, York.  

As a Parts Advisor your main duties will include:

• To serve and issue stock to both internal & external customers ensuring the parts department standards are met.
• To receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock and to advise management if stock is low.
• Ensuring best practice housekeeping standards are kept for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department.
• Ensuring promotions and practices produced by Parts Management are promoted when speaking to customers.
• To participate in the annual formal stock check.

The ideal Parts Advisor will have the following skills and experiences:

• Experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Self-motivated
• IT Literate
• Good head for numbers / remembering codes

Salary: £26,769 + OTE of £28,000. 

Hours: Your contracted working hours are a minimum of 45.00 per week, worked on a rota basis covering the business hours of Monday to Friday from 7.45 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

1 in 3 Saturdays from 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Further details will be provided by your line manager in due course.
