Experienced Panel Beater Required

What we are offering Panel Beaters:

• Full Time / Permanent.
• Salary between £40,000 - £55,000
• Fantastic bonus available
• Monday – Friday 45 hours a week
• NO Weekends

Key Tasks of a Panel Beater:

• Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
• Replacement of panels
• Panel Repairs (Straightening and filling)
• Body Alignment
• Welding ARC, MIG, TIG, SPOT and bonding
• Panel Beating (Major or Minor damage repair)
• Jig Work
• Filler Work
• Dent removal
• Plastic welding
• Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
• Removing any dents in panels.
• Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels.
• The ability to use pulling and measuring systems, plus basic diagnostic equipment is also of importance.

Requirements of a Panel Beater:

• Must have a Level 2 or 3 NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds UK qualification in Panel Beating or be time served with 10+ years service within the industry.
• Will consider someone with 3-4 years of bodyshop panel beating experience
• Must have a valid UK driving licence
• Previous experience within the automotive bodyshop industry would be preferred.
