Whats being offered to Multi Skilled Technicians:

The Role of a Multi Skilled Technician:

Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer
Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork
Removing any dents in panels
Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels
Panel beating and replacement or rear of side panels, rear panels and quarter panels
You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
The ability to use pulling and measuring systems, plus basic diagnostic equipment is also of importance
Experience in stripping and refitting a variety of makes and models of vehicle
Carry out diagnostic checks on vehicles
Geometry Wheel Alignment
Suspension and mechanical duties
Stripping and Fitting Vehicles before and after paint.
Stripping and Fitting bumpers and door.
Repairing Exterior Plastics
Prepare vehicles to be sprayed and mixing paint to ensure a perfect match in order to spray
Painting vehicles accordingly to a high standard
Masking up vehicles
Priming vehicles ready for spraying

Requirements of a Multi Skilled Technician:

NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Panel Beating, Paint Spraying or MET would be preferred but not essential. Time served as a Multi Skilled Technician for 4+ years will also be considered.
Must have previous experience with working in a fast paced bodyshop environment
Must have a valid UK driving licence
