NEEDED - Motor Vehicle Technician

On Offer to Vehicle Technicians:

• 42.5 hours a week
• Monday - Friday
• Salary between £30,000 - £40,000
• Bonus Scheme
• Overtime Available

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

• Servicing
• Diagnostic work
• General maintenance and repairs
• Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
• Suspension work
• Repairs on lights
• Road testing vehicles after repair
• Repairing and replacing wheel bearings, alternators, and head gaskets
• MOT Prep
• Post MOT repairs
• Change tyres, complete puncture repairs
• Complete wheel alignment and balancing
• Repairing and replacing exhausts
• Repairing and replacing steering racks
• Repairing and replacing water pumps
• Repairing and replacing radiators
• Repairing and replacing clutches
• Dealing with gearboxes
• Timing Belts & Cambelt replacements
• Oil changes and part changes e.g. Filters

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services
• Hold a full valid driver license.
• MOT Tester certificate beneficial but not essential
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
• Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
