DAYS HGV Technician
- Full Time/Permanent
- NO Weekends
- Hours - Monday-Friday - 7am - 5.30pm (15 min paid break in the mornings and ½ an hour unpaid lunch )
- Salary - £40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician:
- In the role of HGV Technician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Reporting to the Workshop Manage
- Servicing
- Maintaining and fixing all mechanical issues with units and trailers
- Dealing with electrical faults in units
- Maintaining and fixing driving and parking sensors
- Tail Lift maintenance and vehicle body work repairs, fabrication and basic welding processes
- Complete administrative tasks and reports as requested
- Road testing vehicles (if you have the relevant class 1 licence)
- Fixing Suzie lines and connections
- Diagnostic work
- Brakes checks and changes
- Suspension work
- MOT Prep & Post MOT repairs
Requirements of HGV Technician
- Must have a Level 2 or 3 qualification with Heavy Good Vehicles (ideally with experience working with units and trailers)
- Minimum of 3+ years of HGV Technician experience
- Full UK driving licence (HGV Licence beneficial but not essential)
- IRTEC inspection licence along with any tail lift inspection certification beneficial but not essential
- Tail lift experience (Beneficial but not essential)
