Mobile HGV Technician

• Full Time Permanent
• Monday - Friday - Shifts Available 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm
• No Weekends
• Paid Door to Door hourly rate between £17 - £21 per hour 
• Van and tools provided (must have own hand tools)
• Yearly pay reviews/increases potentially up to 5%
• Pension Scheme
• Clear career progression (if wanting to get off the tools).

Responsibilities of a Mobile HGV Technician:

• In the role of HGV Technician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Covering at business and customer sites/workshops - No roadside break
• Reporting to the Workshop Manager
• Servicing
• Maintaining and fixing various faults and mechanical issues
• Dealing with electrical faults in units
• Maintaining and fixing driving and parking sensors
• Required to work on HGV Units and Trailers
• Complete administrative tasks and reports as requested
• Fixing Suzie lines and connections
• Diagnostic work
• Brakes checks and changes
• Suspension work
• MOT Prep & Post MOT repairs

Requirements of a Mobile HGV Technician

• MUST have a Level 3 qualification with Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• MUST have a full valid HGV Licence class 1 or class 2
• Must have your own hand tools to bring with you
